Welcome
The IBA 2013 meeting will be held from March 10-15th in Barcelona. This international conference offers a unique blend of battery science and technology and serves as a specialised forum for the discussion of interdisciplinary battery research and development from around the world through a program including keynote lectures and invited talks.
We welcome presentations dealing with electrode and electrolyte materials, cells and concepts in aqueous and nonaqueous systems from both a fundamental and an applied point of view, battery management, safety, etc. Topics dealing with specific applications (electric and hybrid vehicles, grid storage) are specially welcome.
The official language of the conference is English. Participants are duly requested to submit their abstract and oral presentation in English. A template for the abstract is provided on the website. Exhibitions are welcome and space will be available with an affordable fee.
While we hope to have fruitful and interesting discussion at the meeting you'll certainly find time after the sessions to visit the city: jewels of home-grown Catalan architecture, modernisme, remains of the ancient Roman and medieval city and much more...
